OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Roketto, our coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that strong fundamentals are everything We emphasise ‘form over function’ from day one, ensuring that every player develops the correct technique from the start — not just learning to hit, but learning to play the right way. This foundation allows players to grow without limits, avoiding technical barriers later in their journey. Whether you're just picking up a racquet or aiming for the world stage, our programs are built to provide a clear pathway from beginner to elite international competition. Every training stream — from junior squads to our pro-team — is designed and reviewed by international coaching legend Coach Wong Tat Meng, using international proven development methods. We don't just coach to play — we coach to grow champions.

PRO TEAM

The Roketto Pro-Team represents the highest level of badminton performance in Australia — home to national and international champions who embody discipline, skill, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Our athletes include the 2025 Australian Men’s Singles National Champion, Junior National (U-17) winners, and former Women’s Junior (U-19) titleholders. Roketto players have earned Oceania Doubles and Mixed Doubles titles, multiple National Doubles wins, and produced a World No. 18 Women’s Doubles player, a Super 100 winner, and an Olympian from the Paris 2024 Games. Guided by legendary coach Wong Tat Meng, Roketto’s philosophy is simple — we don’t train for numbers, we build champions. Every player is selected, developed, and challenged to reach world-class standards through focused, high-performance training. If your goal is to be among the best — Roketto is where champions are made.

After decades of working with some of the best-funded national teams and elite players in countries where badminton is a way of life, I saw something different in Roketto – raw potential, hunger, and heart. Taking on this new challenge in Australia isn’t just about building champions; it’s about building a culture, a future, and a world-class high-performance program from the ground up
